Publication Criteria

The Global Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences (GJMPS) publishes high-quality scholarly articles that contribute significantly to the advancement of medical and pharmaceutical sciences. Manuscripts submitted to the journal must meet the following publication criteria.

1. Relevance to Journal Scope

Submitted manuscripts must fall within the scope of the journal, including but not limited to medical sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, clinical research, public health, pharmacology, biotechnology, and related interdisciplinary fields.

2. Originality and Scientific Contribution

Manuscripts must present original research, novel findings, or comprehensive reviews that contribute meaningfully to existing scientific knowledge. Submissions should not have been previously published or simultaneously submitted to another journal.

3. Methodological Rigor

Research studies must demonstrate sound methodology, appropriate study design, and valid statistical analysis. The research methods should be clearly described to ensure reproducibility and transparency.

4. Ethical Compliance

All research involving human participants or animals must comply with recognized ethical standards and institutional regulations. Where applicable, authors must provide details of ethical approval from an appropriate ethics committee.

5. Plagiarism and Research Integrity

All submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with significant plagiarism, duplicate publication, or fabricated data will be rejected in accordance with ethical publishing guidelines.

6. Clarity and Quality of Presentation

Manuscripts should be written in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English. Figures, tables, and references must be properly formatted and accurately cited.

7. Peer Review Evaluation

All manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening undergo a double-blind peer review process conducted by independent experts in the relevant field. The final decision regarding publication is based on the reviewers’ recommendations and editorial assessment.

8. Compliance with Author Guidelines

Authors must ensure that their manuscripts comply with the journal’s Author Guidelines, including formatting requirements, reference style, ethical declarations, and submission procedures.
