AI & Generative AI Policy

The Global Journal of Clinical and Applied Medical Sciences recognizes the increasing use of artificial intelligence and generative AI tools in research and scholarly communication.

Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and ethical compliance of their manuscripts.

AI tools may be used for appropriate supporting activities such as language improvement, grammar correction, formatting, or other permitted assistance.

AI systems should not be listed as authors.

Authors must:

  • Verify AI-assisted content.

  • Verify all references and factual claims.

  • Protect confidential information.

  • Ensure originality.

  • Disclose relevant use of AI tools where required.

Editors and reviewers should maintain manuscript confidentiality and should not submit confidential manuscript content to external AI systems where doing so could compromise confidentiality.
