Conflict of Interests
The Global Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences (GJMPS) is committed to maintaining transparency, integrity, and ethical standards in scholarly publishing. All authors, reviewers, editors, and editorial board members are required to disclose any conflicts of interest that could influence, or appear to influence, the research, review, or publication process.
A conflict of interest exists when personal, financial, institutional, professional, or other relationships may affect the objectivity, interpretation, or presentation of research findings.
Author Responsibilities
Authors must disclose all potential conflicts of interest related to the submitted manuscript, including but not limited to:

stock ownership or investments

honoraria

patents or patent applications

institutional affiliations

personal or professional relationships
All sources of funding and financial support must be clearly stated within the manuscript.
If no conflicts of interest exist, authors should include the statement:
“The authors declare no conflict of interest.”
Failure to disclose relevant conflicts may result in:

publication correction

article retraction

further editorial action where necessary
Reviewer Responsibilities
Reviewers must disclose any conflicts of interest that could affect their ability to provide an objective and unbiased evaluation of the manuscript.
Reviewers should decline review invitations if:

competitive or collaborative relationships may influence judgment
-
financial or institutional interests may affect objectivity
Reviewers must not use unpublished manuscript information for personal or professional advantage.
Editor Responsibilities
Editors and editorial staff must avoid involvement in editorial decisions where conflicts of interest exist.
Editors should recuse themselves from handling manuscripts if:

Editorial decisions must be based solely on:

Authors must clearly disclose all sources of:

institutional support
The role of funding organizations in:

manuscript preparation

publication decisions
should also be described where applicable.
Transparency and Publication Integrity
The journal supports full transparency in scholarly communication and expects all parties involved in the publication process to uphold ethical standards and disclose relationships that may create real or perceived conflicts of interest.
The editorial office reserves the right to request additional clarification regarding disclosed conflicts where necessary.
