The Global Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences (GJMPS) is committed to maintaining transparency, fairness, and integrity in all aspects of the publication process. Complaints may relate to, but are not limited to:
Editorial decisions and peer review processes
Allegations of plagiarism or research misconduct
Authorship disputes
Delays in manuscript processing
Ethical concerns regarding published articles
Conflicts of interest involving authors, reviewers, or editors
Concerns regarding journal policies or publication practices
Complaints should be submitted in writing to the journal’s editorial office. The complaint should clearly describe the issue and include relevant supporting information or documentation where applicable.
Complaints may be submitted via email to the journal’s official contact address.
Upon receiving a complaint, the editorial office will acknowledge receipt and initiate a preliminary assessment. If necessary, the matter will be reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief and the publisher.
The journal will investigate complaints fairly, objectively, and confidentially in accordance with internationally recognized ethical publishing practices.
Depending on the nature of the complaint, the journal may take appropriate actions, which may include:
Clarification or correction of published information
Publication of corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions
Communication with the authors’ institutions or relevant authorities where appropriate
Improvement or revision of editorial policies and procedures
All complaints will be handled with strict confidentiality. Personal information related to complainants will be protected in accordance with applicable privacy and ethical standards.
The journal follows established ethical guidelines in handling complaints and disputes, including the recommendations provided by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
