The Global Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences (GJMPS) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity, transparency, and editorial independence in the publication of scholarly research.
The editorial process is designed to ensure that all manuscripts are evaluated fairly, objectively, and solely on the basis of their scientific merit.
Editorial decisions are made independently by the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board without influence from sponsors, advertisers, or the publisher. All manuscripts are assessed based on their quality, originality, relevance, and contribution to the field.
All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial evaluation by the editorial office to determine whether they:
Fall within the scope of the journal
Meet the journal’s formatting and submission requirements
Comply with ethical and publication standards
Demonstrate sufficient scientific quality for peer review
Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be rejected without external review.
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are subjected to a double-blind peer review process, where the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential.
Independent experts in the relevant field evaluate the manuscript based on:
Scientific quality and originality
Methodological soundness
Significance of findings
Clarity of presentation
Editorial decisions are based on the recommendations of peer reviewers and the assessment of the editorial team.
Based on the peer review process, the Editor-in-Chief may make one of the following decisions:
Accept the manuscript for publication
Accept with minor revisions
Request major revisions and resubmission
Reject the manuscript
Authors are informed of the editorial decision along with reviewers’ comments where applicable.
The journal adheres to internationally recognized ethical standards in scholarly publishing and follows the guidelines recommended by COPE and ICMJE.
The journal does not tolerate:
Plagiarism
Data fabrication or falsification
Duplicate or redundant publication
Unethical research practices
Any suspected ethical misconduct will be investigated according to established ethical procedures.
All manuscripts submitted to the journal are treated as confidential documents. Editors and reviewers must not disclose or use any unpublished information for personal advantage.
If errors or ethical issues are discovered after publication, the journal may issue corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.
